Product Director – B2C, Scale ups, Fintech experience
One of the UK’s fastest-rising Insurance companies is seeking a Product Director to join their London office as they continue their growth journey.
The business takes pride in putting the customer first and, therefore, is looking for their new Product Director to come from a B2C environment (ideally within Fintech or Insurtech) and have experience building and scaling financial digital products.
Leading a dedicated and talented team of Product Managers from cross-functional squads, you’ll be the at the centre of the creating, developing, and delivering the product strategy, working closely with the CTO.
The Role:
- Manage, and successfully lead a team of talented and committed Product Managers, setting the objectives for the team.
- Collaborate with the CEO to create and deliver the Product Strategy
- Multiple stakeholder management; communicating the product clearly to everyone including Board-level Execs, other stakeholders, staff etc.
- Take a hands-on approach with the team to run tests, using your experience to transforming complex issues into bitesize, achievable tasks; delivering on the agreed roadmaps
- Be a part of the senior team looking to evolve the business from a start-up structure as it scales up.
- Take the approach that the customer is at the centre of everything you do, ensuring this is reflected in your products
Required Experience:
- Technical background – you’ll need the skills and ability to collaborate closely with the Dev/Engineering teams
- Extensive experience in a Product Leadership role within FinTech, and experience of being part of a start-up as it scaled are essential.
- Be well-versed with the latest tech and market trends to create successful product strategies
- B2C background
- Using data to drive your approach, while also being able to justify going with your experience/instincts
- Experienced with leading a team positively, and recruiting/growing that team as the business grows
- Excellent communicator
