SQL Server DBA
This is a permanent postion to work via a Consulting firm, onsite with a Banking client based in Glasgow.
You must have strong commercial experience in SQL Server administration, specifically with SQL Server on Cloud.
Required experience includes:
- Setup, configured MS SQL Server for HA, fault tolerance/DR, across Physical Data centres and Cloud (AWS or GCP or any other public Cloud…..GCP is preferred, but not a must have).
- Should have experience with IaC.
- Create Database Storage Structures and Alter Database Structures as Needed
- Set up Database User Accounts
- Debug Malfunctioning Programs and Regularly Update Database Security
- Create Database Backups
- Terraform experience is desired, but not a must-have.
